As a second-generation Indian-American, developing an identity that integrates all parts of myself has been one of the salient themes of my life experience. It is this pursuit of integrity and a deep desire to understand myself that has brought me to the field of psychotherapy. I enjoy nurturing this integrity and the greater sense of aliveness that comes with it in my clients.
As a certified yoga teacher, I encourage somatic awareness and mindfulness in my clients as a gateway to their internal experience.
I hold an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I double majored in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Spanish at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern supervised by Carol Hadlock #MFC15315 at the Process Therapy Institute.
